On March 10, Nathan Gunn joins Susan Graham and Kate Baldwin for Celebrating 100 Years of Bernstein at Lyric Opera of Chicago.

The concert includes a performance of Bernstein’s captivating one-act opera, Trouble in Tahiti, with Nathan singing the role of Sam. A funny and poignant examination of 1950s suburban life, Trouble in Tahiti examines the complicated dynamics of married life and domesticity. Susan Graham joins Nathan, singing the role of Dinah, along with a trio of singers from the Ryan Opera Center Ensemble.

The second half of the concert features a program of Bernstein’s most beloved vocal music. Broadway conductor David Chase leads the Lyric Opera Orchestra.
