29 Jun 2018

This summer, Nathan performs in concerts across the United States, joining music festivals across the country.

A busy summer begins at Tanglewood on July 12, where Nathan joins soprano Alexandra Silber in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Bernstein’s poignant examination of the trials of suburban life and marriage. Charles Prince conducts this musical celebration of Bernstein’s legacy.

Next, on July 15, Nathan and Julie Gunn perform at the 2018 Bravo! Vail Music Festival Gala: An American in Paris. The pair present a glamorous cabaret with music by iconic American composers from Leonard Bernstein and Cole Porter to Tom Waits to Billy Joel.

On July 21, Nathan joins the Chicago Philharmonic for “An Evening of Love Songs” at Music by the Lake. Under the baton of Artistic Director Scott Speck, Nathan performs an evening of greatest hits from classical music and musical theater, including selections from Candide, The Barber of Seville, and Carousel.

In August, Nathan and Julie travel to the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival for a celebration of the Bernstein centenary, performing the music of Bernstein and his great friend and mentor, Aaron Copland.
