Take 2: Always the consummate professional – some interpretive dance and tomfoolery after the shoot goofing with Beth Morrison and Jecca Barry from @bethmorrisonprojects
I had the pleasure of performing @paolaprestini's Hubble Cantata over the summer, and I am so thrilled to perform it again at the @kennedycenter on May 25!
One of my strongest musical influences was John Charles Thomas. Most people forget him, but he was probably the greatest American baritone. He used his voice to really tell a story, to match the texture of the music to the mood of the song. Here he in a recording of "Home on the Range."
Being a musician, singer, dancer, director – or really any professional in the artistic field – is really hard work. But for a lot of us, there's more to it that just a spotlight. Here's a little insight into why, and how, I do it!
Summertime and the livin' was easy...throwback to the good old days. Hanging with my father and his prized Corvair convertible.

I love bringing new works to life — you're bringing a piece that was on paper in black and white, a skeleton of artwork, and giving it flesh and blood.
