In Our Daughters’ Eyes
Told through the perspective of a new father, In Our Daughters’ Eyes shows the journey of the hero as he wrestles with truly becoming a man that his daughter would be proud of: facing his demons and over-coming addiction. The story centers on a couple that learns that their daughter will not live past her birth because of a rare birth defect. They decide to bring the baby to term in order to donate her organs. Just a few weeks shy of full-term, the baby dies. An emergency delivery is performed. Only the eyes can be saved – but they will give the gift of sight to one child who would otherwise live a life of blindness. A life changed.
